You, Me And The PC – A Mother's Story

I remember the first time my dad got a computer home. After endless debate between mom and him on whether we need a computer or more importantly whether our not having one was hindering their children’s growth and progress, my father one day took special permission from his boss to get his office laptop home. That evening the entire family gathered around his laptop and I logged on to the World Wide Web for the first time. After half an hour of fiddling, none of us really knew what to do with it and that was it.
